Bikini Parade World Record Challenge to Take Place During Panama City Beach Spring Break
Panama City Beach is preparing to beat the existing World record for the largest bikini parade during Spring Break 2012, according to the Panama City Beach Spring Break website, springbreakfunplace.com. The current World record was set at Surfers Paradise beach, Gold Coast, Australia in October 2011, where 357 women paraded in an attempt which beat the (then current) record of 331 women in the Cayman Islands.

Panama City Beach bikini parade world set record during Spring Break
The current record was set in October 2011 at Surfers Paradise beach, Gold Coast, Australia, where 357 women paraded in tiny two-piece bathing suits and pink visors while “throngs of onlookers whooped, hollered and snapped pictures,” according to www.worldrecordsacademy.org.

New Rules: No horses or unleashed dogs in Panama City Beach parks
Leash your dogs, but bring no more than two; ditch the horses at the barn, forget the smokes and leave the wildlife alone. City Council members have approved a new ordinance for the city’s park system that formally brings the new 3,000-acre Panama City Beach Nature Park and its 11 miles of trails under existing regulations. It also adds a few wrinkles and includes a special section just for the new area.
